    • How We Achieve Plastic Neutrality Through Verified Impact 

    At Purist, we're committed to taking responsibility for our plastic footprint, starting with eco-friendly packaging. Through our partnership with rePurpose Global, we've achieved certified Plastic Neutral status.  

    Purist packaging is made from at least 30% Post Consumer Recycled (PCR) plastic materials, giving existing plastic a second life and reducing our demand for virgin plastic. PCR packaging has lower fossil fuel use, a lower Global Warming Potential (GWP) score and needs less water to make the final product. 

    Plus, we don't just measure our plastic use. We actively fund the recovery of nature-bound plastic waste from environmental hotspots around the world. Our commitment goes beyond our products to support waste workers, protect vulnerable ecosystems, and build sustainable waste management infrastructure in underserved communities.

    Measure: We calculate our total plastic footprint across our entire product lifecycle — from packaging materials to shipping supplies. 

    Reduce: We continuously work to minimize plastic use through sustainable design choices, material innovation, and operational improvements. 

    Recover: Through rePurpose Global, we fund the collection and responsible processing of plastic waste equal to or greater than our plastic footprint. This prevents plastic from polluting oceans, rivers, and landscapes while supporting communities on the frontlines of the waste crisis. 

    Verify: Independent third-party audits ensure every pound of plastic we fund for recovery is tracked, documented, and transparently reported. This isn't greenwashing: t's verified environmental action.
